MONEY
St. Francis Animal Rescue grew from a desire to go beyond what a
traditional shelter could offer. Our organization began by rescuing
what most did not want - animals that were deemed as "unadoptable".
We have been very successful in placing senior animals and special
needs animals in appropriate, loving homes. St. Francis Animal
Rescue is unique in another way because we choose to have elective
surgeries done on animals to save, or to improve the quality, of the
animal's life. These animals otherwise might be euthanized, due to
the expense of the surgery. Because of this our veterinarian bills
are very high! Often we do not come close to recovering our
expenses through adoption fees. Donations of money are always
needed and all donations go directly to animal care, including
spaying and neutering costs, vaccinations, dentals, surgeries, and
Heartworm treatment as needed for the well being of each animal, and
for food and supplies. Checks can be mailed to: St. Francis of
Assisi Animal Rescue, PO Box 256, Forest Lake, MN 55025. Checks or
cash can be accepted at adoption days, special events and
fundraising events.
On line donations can be made through Paypal with a Paypal account
or by credit card. Click the donation button and follow the
instructions.

PetCo PetSmart or other pet supply stores
Because we are a foster
home based organization, the best place to drop donations off is at
one of our pet adoption events. The locations, dates and times are
