St. Francis Animal Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt animal rescue and placement organization. Because we are a nonprofit organization, gifts made to St. Francis are tax deductible!

SUPPLIES

St. Francis is always in need of basic supplies to properly care for our animals. Some of the things that we are always in need of are:

• Premium cat and dog food, and especially kitten and puppy food
• Kitten formula
• Cat litter (non-clumping)
• Dog crates — wire or plastic kennels, x-pens or open cages, especially large sizes
• Cat carriers
• Dog leashes
• Gentle leaders
• Towels, blankets and baby blankets (for kittens and puppies)
• Gift certificates for Chuck & Dons, PetCo, PetSmart or other pet supply stores

If you have items you would like to donate to St. Francis the best place to drop them off is at one of our pet adoption events. The locations, dates and times are listed on our Adoption Days page. If you prefer to have your donations picked up, please call us at 612-387-4869 to make arrangements. 

UNITED WAY

You can designate your donations to United Way for St. Francis. To do you so, you will need the EIN number for St. Francis which is 41-2006052.

MONEY

Needless to say St. Francis Animal Rescue can always put monetary donations to good use.

Our organization began by rescuing what most others did not want - animals that were deemed as "unadoptable". We have been very successful in placing senior and special needs animals in appropriate, loving homes.

St. Francis Animal Rescue is unique in another way because we choose to have elective surgeries done on animals to save or to improve the quality of the animal's life. These animals otherwise might be euthanized due to the expense of the surgery. Because of this our veterinary bills can be very high!

Donations of money are used directly for animal care including: spaying and neutering costs, vaccinations, dentals, surgeries, and Heartworm treatment as needed for the well being of each animal.

Checks or cash can also be accepted at any of our adoption days, special events and fundraising events.
