Hello, my name is Trejo. I am back with my friend Rain. We were returned do to our owners husband being allergic to me. So we are again looking for our forever home. Originally I was a stray that was saved from a dangerous life on the streets. I was brought to SFAAR by a good Samaritan in rough shape. It was discovered I had at one point in my life been shot by a pellet gun. The nerve of people!!.I survived that and have no last effects from it.

Once in rescue it was discovered I am FIV+. Which means I can lead I normal life but may have dental issues and have trouble fighting off illnesses due to a lowered immune system. Since FIV can still be transmitted through deep bite wound to cats only I can't be in a home with other cats unless they have FIV as well. Dogs and of course people of all ages are fine. Now onto the good stuff...

I am a handsome boy so everyone says that loves to explore. I am a little cautious at first but thats because i like to sit back and survey my surroundings.  I love to be pet and am very food motivated. I purr and love attention. I am becoming use to this house cat life and I don't want to give it up except for a forever family who love me unconditionally.

Since in rescue Trejo has become quite bonded with Rain. Another FIV+ cat. It would be awesome if we can find a home for both of them as we won't be splitting them up.
