Hello, my name is Mr. Bleubell. I was surrendered to SFAAR when my previous owner could not provide for me any longer. She was sad to see me go but did the right thing so I could get neutered and my shots and find a forever home to care for all my needs.                                                 
 
When I was surrendered it was stated I didn't like men and only bonded to the owner. So when SFAAR got me I had a very hard time adjusting and trusting things were going to be okay. Every time my foster mom let me I reacted by batting her hand, ducking and retreating. Almost like I never knew what positive touch . It has taking her several weeks to gain my trust and now that i know people aren't going to hurt me I do enjoy being pet. I purr and like to go to her for pets/heads bumps. I still am weary and get nervous. So I do bat on occasion if I forget or people move to fast. Generally if people respect my space and I dont feel cornered things go great. We have no idea what issues I am overcoming. I just know I am safe and SFAAR is willing to take as long as I need to find the right home that understands sometimes I am not perfect,  I will need time/space but someone willing to help me continue to be the confident, sweet boy that is loving and playful .
