Almond was 1 of 5 siblings born in foster care. They were all doted on and well-loved by their mama and their foster family. Almond is a sweet, old soul. He loves life and playing. His favorites are catnip toys and tissue paper. He's happy playing by himself but also loves to have other cat company to kick up the fun. He's fond of humans, too, esp. rear-end pets, but he has so much to see and do.
Almond was born with mild-to-moderate cerebellar hypoplasia (aka Wobbly Kitty Syndrome), likely exposed to an infection while his mother was pregnant. Common symptoms include jerky movements, head bobbing and intention tremors, heightened startle response, execution processing. He will not improve, but he is still growing and getting stronger, learning to compensate. He also will not worsen from it. Luckily, he isn't aware that he is different. If anything, he's even cuter. His back leg muscles seem tight; perhaps your veterinarian could show you some exercises to alleviate that. He may have difficulty going down stairs, and he sometimes clunks into walls, espeseically if he gets startled, but he doesn't let it bother him.
He's sure to be an inspiring addtion to your family.
