Hello, I am a kitten that was rescued from a hoarding situation. I am a people kitten and enjoy cuddling. My favorite toys are mice, balls, untying shoes and pouncing on stray leaves that make their way in the house. I really hope you choose to adopt me... so I can shower with affection.

Note from foster: Ecko came to us in a 6 week old litter of kittens from a hoarding situation. She arrived to her new foster home with an upper respiratory infection that went into an inner ear infection that resulted in a blown eardrum and complete deafness. She has had a tough start but she has been a fighter the entire way through and never lost her spunk. After many medications and trips to the vet she now has been given a clean bill of health and is all set to go to her forever home. As stated earlier she is deaf and has a little bit of a balance issue at times but she is such a sweetheart that it is easy to forget that she has any special needs. She plays just like a "normal" kitten does, loving to bat around her play mice, chase strings and cat balls and loves to untie shoelaces. She pounces on stray leaves that make their way into the house and she gets along wonderfully with her foster grown cat friends and her foster dog siblings, a great big lab and a little shitzu. She has a normal appetite and uses the litter box and functions just fine in her foster home. Because of her "special needs" she is a bit more vocal because she will call out when she gets disoriented or wants someone’s attention but once she can see you she stops meowing and comes running. She can do stairs just fine but does not climb up on things because her balance isn't the greatest; she prefers to cuddle up on someone’s lap or on a blanket when she wants to take a nap. She really is a "people" kitten because she has had a lot of special care due to her illnesses and loves to cuddle up right in the neck of whoever is holding her and will purr up a storm. She is a little bit of a girl weighing in at only a little above 3 pounds and will be a very petite girl fully grown. Ecko will make someone a wonderful companion, she just needs a little bit extra care due to her needs but she will give you love back 10 times of what you give her!
