Blessing of the Animals

Blessing of the Animals Saturday, September 27, 2008. An Interdenominational Community Event. Bring your pet or a photo of your pet to celebrate and to ask God's blessing on our animals. Pets and owners will gather at 9:30 a.m. Hugo Feed Mill (55 SW 2nd Street, Forest Lake). We will then proceed to Roberts Family Funeral Home (555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake). A brief homily followed by the blessing of each pet will take place in the parking area. The event was planned by a team of volunteers from Roberts Family Funeral Home, Northwoods Humane Society, and other local Animal Rescue Groups. Refreshments and animal treats will follow. Reservations can be made by calling 651-464-4422 or by email to tim@robertsfamilyfh.com so a certificate can be completed in advance. All Creatures Great and Small Are Welcome! (Please have all animals in control by collar, leash, harness, rope, carrier, cage, etc. All owners are responsible for their own animal.)

MEET AND GREET EVENTS
Because we are a foster based rescue organization, we do not have a facility where you can come to meet the cats and kittens in our care. We hold a Meet and Greet event two Saturdays each month at the Forest Lake PetSmart store located at 299 - 12th Street SW.
Although we are not ab
le to bring all of our animals to an adoption event, if there is a particular animal you would like to meet, please call or send an email to let us know. We will be happy to make arrangements to have the animal at the event.
We do not do same-day adoptions, so if you meet a cat you would like to adopt, please submit our online Adoption Application .
